I first decided to write this book when it occurred to me that the arguments between the academics and the conservative religious groups about life and evolution could much be compared to the elders of two communities squabbling over which viewpoint of the world was correct -- that the world was flat and square or flat and round. Obviously before this could happen, I had to overcome my own false beliefs, by learning about the hundreds of pieces of information which could not be supported by either ideology but had been kept buried. I then had to discover that there was other truth out there that nobody seemed to want to acknowledge. My little book, Neither Darwin Nor Genesis: A New Paradigm for Creation and Evolution, will hopefully allow many more people to see what I finally saw as a greater truth about how we and other species on our planet function.
