What does it say about our culture when:

-- A loud voice is more valued than a wise word.

-- We will show our audiences human gore and blood spilled from acts of rage and violence, but will not allow our audiences to see the most beautiful of all creations - the human body.

-- We behave as though that fear and violence are normal human attributes, but loving sexual relations are not.

-- We spend more on incarcerating those we fear than we do educating those we love.

-- We decide that highway maintenance and national defense is best accomplished by a nationally regulated operation for all to benefit from, but will not offer the same caringness regarding the health of our people.

-- We value those who entertain us much more than those who would teach us.
